Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH), 55-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Madison upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks host Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH) to play the Warriors in a Chagrin Valley - Lake bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 16-1. Edgewood won 48-35 in their recent league bout against Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH)

Next up, the Spartans play the St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Conneaut will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Fighting Herald enter the game with a 8-9 record after their 60-48 non-league win over Maplewood (Cortland, OH).
