The Cornerstone Christian School Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Omaha Christian Academy Eagles to 26 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Bluffs for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Cornerstone Christian School will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 45-14 non-league win over St. Edward (St. Edward, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-7.

The Eagles (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Brownell Talbot (Omaha, NE). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Brownell Talbot triumphed over Boys Town (Boys Town, NE), 32-25, in a non-league contest.
