The Merrill Bluejays basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host D.C. Everest Evergreens to 39 in the Bluejays league victory on Saturday.

The Bluejays now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stevens Point for a Wisconsin Valley contest on Tuesday, February 6. Merrill will battle a Panthers team coming off a 74-30 league win over D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 14-6.

The Evergreens (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Wausau West (Wausau, WI). The Warriors come into the Wisconsin Valley contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Wausau West was defeated by Holmen (Holmen, WI), 61-52, in a non-league contest.
