Utah High School Basketball - Grand County topped by Duchesne

The Duchesne Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Grand County Red Devils to 44 in the Eagles league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gunnison Valley for a 2A Region 15 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Duchesne will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-35 league loss to North Sevier (Salina, UT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-15.

The Red Devils (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against San Juan (Blanding, UT). The Broncos come into the 2A Region 15 contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, San Juan was defeated by North Summit (Coalville, UT), 61-28, in a league contest.
