Dufur Rangers (Dufur, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lyle/Wishram Cougars (Lyle, WA), 40-19 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dufur upgrades its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Rangers host Sherman (Moro, OR) to play the Huskies in a 1A Big Sky bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 9-14.

Next up, the Cougars play the Sherman Huskies (Moro, OR) in a 1A Big Sky bout, on Monday, February 5. Lyle/Wishram will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 9-14 record after their 27-26 league loss to Condon (Condon, OR).
