Illinois High School Basketball - Dunlap knocked off by Washington

The Washington Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Dunlap Eagles to 40 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morton for a Mid-Illini contest on Tuesday, February 6. Washington will meet a Potters team coming off a 59-32 league win over Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Potters record now stands at 22-5.
The Eagles (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Redbirds enter the Mid-Illini contest with a 11-18 record. In their last contest, Metamora ran past East Peoria (East Peoria, IL), 56-42, in a league contest.
