The Will Rogers College Ropers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Durant Lions to 47 in the Ropers league triumph on Saturday.

The Ropers now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host McAlester for a 5A District 4 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Will Rogers College will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 59-50 league win over Memorial (Tulsa, OK). The Buffaloes record now stands at 11-8.

The Lions (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Holland Hall (Tulsa, OK). The Dutch enter the 5A District 4 contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Holland Hall was defeated by Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK), 64-59, in a league contest.
