Nebraska High School Basketball - Elmwood-Murdock nips Freeman

February 3, 2024: Adams, NE 68301

Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE), 43-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Elmwood-Murdock upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Johnson County Central lost 37-27 in their recent non-league bout against Falls City (Falls City, NE)

Next up, the Falcons play the Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Freeman will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Jets go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 41-38 non-league loss to Pawnee City (Pawnee City, NE).
