The Greenville Green Wave basketball team (Greenville, OH), was nudged 47-43 in Saturday's league battle with the host Fairborn Skyhawks (Fairborn, OH)
The Skyhawks now possess a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Carrollton for a Miami Valley - Scarlet battle on Monday, February 5. Fairborn will battle a Pirates team coming off a 47-33 league win over Troy (Troy, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 13-7.
The Green Wave (5-16) will now prepare for their battle against Piqua (Piqua, OH). The Indians come into the Miami Valley - Scarlet battle with a 3-17 record. In their last battle, Piqua was nudged by Meadowdale (Dayton, OH), 59-41, in a non-league battle.
