Maine High School Basketball - Presque Isle thwarts Foxcroft Academy

The Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 42-31 in Saturday's league test.
The Wildcats (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Vikings go into the B North test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Caribou went down by Old Town (Old Town, ME), 61-58, in a league test.
The Ponies now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Dexter for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 7. Foxcroft Academy will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 26-16 league win over Orono (Orono, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 16-1.
