The Lakeside Dragons basketball team (Ashtabula, OH), was overwhelmed 67-25 in Saturday's league battle with the host Geneva Eagles (Geneva, OH)
The Eagles now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry for a Chagrin Valley - Lake battle on Wednesday, February 7. Geneva will confront a Pirates team coming off a 51-12 league win over Harvey (Painesville, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 12-6.
The Dragons (1-17) will now prepare for their battle against Conneaut (Conneaut, OH). The Spartans come into the Chagrin Valley - Lake battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Conneaut was overwhelmed by St. John (Ashtabula, OH), 60-48, in a non-league battle.
