Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH), 47-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Olmsted Falls upgrades its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Steele (Amherst, OH) to play the Comets in a Southwestern bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 10-9. Steele lost 41-28 in their recent league bout against Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH)

Next up, the Lancers play the Magnificat Blue Streaks (Rocky River, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Gilmour Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 61-38 non-league win over Ross (Fremont, OH).
