The North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] Bearcats basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars to 31 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bearcats now sport a 5-7 record.
The Cougars (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND). The Rockets enter the B District 4 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, New Rockford-Sheyenne ran past Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND), 55-39, in a non-league contest.
