In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting LaFayette Bulldogs basketball team scored a tight 46-43 triumph over the Horseshoe Bend Generals.
In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Lanett Panthers (Lanett, AL) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 5. LaFayette will attempt to better on its 5-14 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 18-4 record after their 55-20 non-league win over Reeltown (Notasulga, AL).
With the defeat, Horseshoe Bend moves to 15-7 on the year.
