The Merit Preparatory Academy Knights basketball team (Springville, UT), was overwhelmed 56-22 in Saturday's league battle with the host Intermountain Christian Lions (Salt Lake City, UT)

The Lions now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to American Prep WV for a 2A Region 16 battle on Monday, February 5. Intermountain Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 59-22 league loss to Rockwell (Eagle Mountain, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.
