The Lanier County Bulldogs basketball team (Lakeland, GA), was toppled 35-24 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA)

The Titans now possess a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinch County for a A D2 Region 2 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Turner County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 58-55 league win over Atkinson County (Pearson, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-4.

The Bulldogs (9-14) will now prepare for their battle against Echols County (Statenville, GA). The Wildcats come into the A D2 Region 2 battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Echols County was toppled by Atkinson County (Pearson, GA), 74-54, in a league battle.
