The Washburn Cardinals (Washburn, ND) basketball crushed the visiting Mandaree Warriors (Mandaree, ND), 54-24 in Saturday's league test.
The Cardinals (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Hazen (Hazen, ND). The Bison go into the non-league test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Hazen walloped Beulah (Beulah, ND), 51-49, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Wilton/Wing for a B District 6 test on Friday, February 9. Mandaree will encounter a Miners squad coming off a 61-32 non-league loss to South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND). The Miners record now stands at 7-14.
