Illinois High School Basketball - Salem knocked off by Mascoutah

The Mascoutah Indians basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Salem Wildcats to 52 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 8-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carbondale for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Mascoutah will battle a Terriers team coming off a 90-18 league win over Cahokia (Cahokia, IL). The Terriers record now stands at 10-19.
The Wildcats (14-14) will now prepare for their contest against Flora (Flora, IL). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 7-22 record. In their last contest, Flora ran past Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (Cowden, IL), 61-45, in a non-league contest.
