The New Providence Pioneers basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders to 18 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pioneers now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. New Providence will meet a Trojans team coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ). The Trojans record now stands at 17-6.

The Raiders (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Knoll (Summit, NJ). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Oak Knoll triumphed over Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ), 56-51, in a non-league contest.
