The Eagles now possess a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilcox-Hildreth for a D2 District 5 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Overton will battle a Falcons team coming off a 47-33 non-league loss to Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 15-7.
The Mustangs (17-2) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE). The Bulldogs come into the D1 District 10 battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Pleasanton dropped by Amherst (Amherst, NE), 36-32, in a non-league battle.
