The Rock Point Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host St. Michael Cardinals to 41 in the Cougars league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mogollon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Rock Point will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 48-44 non-league loss to Valley Lutheran (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-10.

The Cardinals (20-11) will now prepare for their contest against Baboquivari (Sells, AZ). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 9-16 record. In their last contest, Baboquivari was defeated by Duncan (Duncan, AZ), 50-17, in a league contest.
