Ohio High School Basketball - West Liberty-Salem overwhelms Triad

February 3, 2024: West Liberty, OH 43357

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the West Liberty-Salem Tigers (West Liberty, OH) and the visiting Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH), saw West Liberty-Salem's basketball squad wallop Triad by a tally of 56-24.

With the victory, West Liberty-Salem improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH) to confront the Indians in a Ohio Heritage challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 19-1. Mechanicsburg won 67-31 in their recent league challenge against Cedarville (Cedarville, OH)

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Benjamin Logan Raiders (Bellefontaine, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Triad will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 43-42 league win over Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH).
