West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), 46-23 in a league bout.

With the win, West Wendover upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Wolverines host North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA) to play the Lakers in a bout on Friday, February 9. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 4-3. North Tahoe won 45-23 in their recent league bout against Yerington (Yerington, NV)

Next up, the Nighthawks play the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a bout, on Saturday, February 10. Silver Stage will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
