Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Governor's Academy drops to Thayer Academy

In Saturday's league test, the host Thayer Academy Tigers ice hockey team scored a tight 7-2 win over the Governor's Academy Governors.

The Tigers (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA). The Spartans enter the test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Lawrence Academy held off Winchendon (Winchendon, MA), 7-3, in a league test.

Next up, the Governors encounter the Noble & Greenough Bulldogs (Dedham, MA) in a test, on Wednesday, February 7. Governor's Academy will attempt to advance on its 7-13 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 11-7 record after their 4-3 league win over Tabor Academy (Marion, MA).
