Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), 69-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pojoaque Valley upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Elks/Elkettes host Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Pintos play the Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Moriarty will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 54-38 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
