Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX), 61-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sachse upgrades its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to North Garland (Garland, TX) to play the Raiders in a bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Pirates play the Garland Owls (Garland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Wylie will attempt to upgrade on its 17-8 season record.
