South Carolina High School Basketball - Philip Simmons knocks off Andrews

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) and the host Andrews Yellowjackets (Andrews, SC), observed Philip Simmons's basketball team overcome Andrews by a margin of 35-26.

The Iron Horses (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC). The Raptors come into the AA Region 6 challenge with a 3-18 record. In their last challenge, Academic Magnet dropped by Burke (Charleston, SC), 78-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Timberland Wolves (St. Stephen, SC) in a AA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Andrews will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 39-17 league win over Woodland (Dorchester, SC).
