Maryland High School Basketball - Severn School nips Archbishop Curley

In Monday's league contest, the visiting Severn School Admirals basketball team scored a close 55-49 win over the Archbishop Curley Friars.
The Admirals (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD). The Saints come into the MIAA B - Black contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, St. Mary's was tipped by Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD), 70-58, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Friars battle the Indian Creek Eagles (Crownsville, MD) in a MIAA B - Black contest, on Wednesday, February 5. Archbishop Curley will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 5-18 record after their 84-55 league win over Gerstell Academy (Finksburg, MD).
