In Monday's league contest, the host Earle Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 96-40 triumph over the Armorel Tigers.

The Bulldogs (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR). The Screamin Eagles go into the 1A Region 3 contest with a 11-14 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest was trounced by Earle (Earle, AR), 88-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Ridgefield Christian Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) in a 1A Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Armorel will attempt to better on its 4-15 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 12-16 record after their 55-44 league win over Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR).
