Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV), 51-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Bluefield advances its record to 1-12 on the year. The Beavers host WestSide (Clear Fork, WV) to meet the Renegades in a Coalfield AA match on Tuesday, February 4. The Renegades enter the match with a record of 6-4. WestSide won 53-49 in their recent league match against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV)

The Red Devils now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bluefield for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Oak Hill will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 71-55 league loss to WestSide (Clear Fork, WV). The Beavers record now stands at 1-12.
