The Washington Academy Raiders got by the visiting Bucksport Golden Bucks basketball squad by a final score of 48-43 in Monday's league outing.
Next, the Raiders clash with the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) in a B North outing, on Wednesday, February 5. Washington Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Crusaders come into the outing with a 4-14 record after their 47-46 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME).
The Golden Bucks (2-16) will now prepare for their outing against George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, George Stevens Academy held off Piscataquis (Guilford, ME), 61-32, in a league outing.
