In Monday's league contest, the host Nuview Bridge Knights basketball team scored a close 61-55 win over the California Military Institute Rough Riders.

The Knights (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against San Jacinto Valley Academy (San Jacinto, CA). The Wolves come into the South Valley contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, San Jacinto Valley Academy edged Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School (Temecula, CA), 59-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rough Riders battle the Temecula Prep Patriots (Winchester, CA) in a South Valley contest, on Wednesday, February 5. California Military Institute will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 20-7 record after their 80-40 league win over San Jacinto Leadership Academy (San Jacinto, CA).
