The St. James Saints basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Cedar Mountain Cougars to 63 in the Saints non-league triumph on Monday.

The Saints now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Cleveland for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. St. James will play a Clippers team coming off a 67-63 league win over Martin County West (Sherburn, MN). The Clippers record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Cedar Mountain falls to 16-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN) to play the Knights in a A Section 2 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights go into the game with a record of 11-11. St. Mary's won 81-61 in their recent non-league game against Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN)
