The Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) basketball edged the visiting Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM), 40-37 in Monday's league bout.
The Bulldawgs now possess a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Mayfield for a 5A District 3 bout on Thursday, February 6. Las Cruces will play a Trojans team coming off a 60-49 league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 9-12.
With the loss, Centennial falls to 7-14 on the campaign. The Hawks host Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to play the Tigers in a 5A District 3 bout on Thursday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Alamogordo won 71-44 in their recent league bout against Gadsden (Anthony, NM)
