The Taylor Tigers (Taylor, AR) basketball were winner over the visiting Columbia Christian Crusaders (Magnolia, AR), 64-53 in Monday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bearden for a 1A Region 8 bout on Thursday, February 6. Taylor will play a Bears team coming off a 57-45 non-league loss to Junction City (Junction City, AR). The Bears record now stands at 13-8.
With the loss, Columbia Christian falls to 23-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Emerson (Emerson, AR) to play the Pirates in a 1A Region 8 bout on Friday, February 7. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 7-15.
