In Monday's league contest, the host Cornerstone Christian Chargers basketball team scored a close 49-45 triumph over the Hope Christian Academy .

The Chargers (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL). The Colts go into the non-league contest with a 22-1 record. In their last contest, Hooper Academy nipped Valiant Cross Academy (Montgomery, AL), 53-52, in a league contest.
