Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), 64-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Damascus advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Hornets travel to Blake (Silver Spring, MD) to face the Bengals in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Bengals enter the match with a record of 13-2. Blake won 84-33 in their recent non-league match against Einstein (Kensington, MD)
The Gladiators now own a 1-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Einstein for a Montgomery County - South match on Tuesday, February 4. Northwood will face a Titans squad coming off a 84-33 non-league loss to Blake (Silver Spring, MD). The Titans record now stands at 0-12.
