In Monday's non-league test, the DeLand-Weldon Eagles (DeLand, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Decatur Christian Warriors (Forsyth, IL), by a final score of 49-18.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL) in a East Central Illinois test, on Tuesday, February 4. DeLand-Weldon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Cyclones come into the test with a 8-14 record after their 56-42 league win over Judah Christian (Champaign, IL).

The Warriors (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL). The Conquering Riders come into the East Central Illinois test with a 19-8 record. In their last test, Arthur-Okaw Christian was overwhelmed by La Salette Academy (Georgetown, IL), 55-49, in a non-league test.
