Ohio High School Basketball - East Tech can't get by Orange

The East Tech Scarabs basketball squad (Cleveland, OH), was nudged 54-53 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH)

With the victory, Orange advances its record to 8-11 on the year. The Lions travel to Hawken (Gates Mills, OH) to meet the Hawks in a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin battle on Friday, February 7. The Hawks enter the battle with a record of 12-7. Hawken lost 56-36 in their recent non-league battle against Brush (Lyndhurst, OH)

The Scarabs now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland Central Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. East Tech will meet a Ironmen squad coming off a 76-48 non-league loss to Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH). The Ironmen record now stands at 11-5.
