Idaho High School Basketball - Wendell holds off Gooding

The Wendell Trojans basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Gooding Senators to 61 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Trojans now have a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Soda Springs for a 3A South East Idaho game on Wednesday, February 5. Wendell will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 54-43 league loss to Declo (Declo, ID). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Gooding falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Senators travel to Buhl (Buhl, ID) to meet the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Indians enter the match with a record of 2-15. Buhl lost 69-47 in their recent league match against Filer (Filer, ID)
