In Monday's league contest, the visiting Griffin Bears basketball team scored a big 73-23 triumph over the Harris County Tigers.
The Bears (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Carrollton, GA). The Lions go into the AAAA Region 3 contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Central smashed Northside (Columbus, GA), 68-22, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Harris County will attempt to advance on its 1-23 season record. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a 5-14 record after their 70-53 league win over Jackson (Jackson, GA).
