The Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH) basketball crushed the host Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH), 81-47 in Monday's league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Derryfield for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Hopkinton will play a Cougars team coming off a 68-35 non-league loss to Stevens (Claremont, NH). The Cougars record now stands at 2-14.
With the loss, Monadnock falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH) to play the Wildcats in a Division III bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Fall Mountain won 59-56 in their recent league bout against Stevens (Claremont, NH)
