In Monday's non-league test, the Iron Mountain Mountaineers (Iron Mountain, MI) basketball squad knocked off the host Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI), by a score of 64-48.
Next, the Mountaineers encounter the Calumet Copper Kings (Calumet, MI) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 5. Iron Mountain will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Copper Kings come into the test with a 11-4 record after their 56-55 non-league win over L'Anse (L'Anse, MI).
The Maroons (10-9) will now prepare for their test against North Central (Powers, MI). The Jets come into the non-league test with a 8-8 record.
