New York High School Basketball - Morrisville-Eaton holds off Sauquoit Valley

The Morrisville-Eaton Mavericks basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Sauquoit Valley Indians to 63 in the Mavericks league triumph on Monday.
The Mavericks now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to New York Mills for a Section 3 Center State III game on Thursday, February 6. Morrisville-Eaton will confront a Marauders team coming off a 62-31 league win over Westmoreland (Westmoreland, NY). The Marauders record now stands at 5-10.
With the loss, Sauquoit Valley falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Hamilton (Hamilton, NY) to confront the Emerald Knights in a Section 3 Center State III game on Thursday, February 6. The Emerald Knights go into the game with a record of 10-3.
