Virginia High School Basketball - South Lakes knocks off Oakton

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) and the visiting Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA), observed South Lakes's basketball team overcome Oakton by a margin of 62-42.
The Seahawks (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against James Madison (Vienna, VA). The Warhawks come into the District 1 challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, James Madison defeated Chantilly (Chantilly, VA), 48-41, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Centreville Wildcats (Clifton, VA) in a District 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Oakton will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 61-52 league loss to Westfield (Chantilly, VA).
