The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA) and the host Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA), observed Tabb's basketball team knock off Poquoson by a score of 69-53.

The Tigers (3-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Bruton (Williamsburg, VA). The Panthers come into the Bay Rivers challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Bruton dropped by New Kent (New Kent, VA), 61-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Islanders encounter the Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA) in a Bay Rivers challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Poquoson will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Packers come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 71-57 non-league win over Salem (Virginia Beach, VA).
