The Puxico Indians (Puxico, MO) basketball edged the visiting Richland Rebels (Essex, MO), 61-55 in Monday's league bout.
The Indians now possess a 18-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Carter for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Puxico will play a Redbirds team coming off a 39-29 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, MO). The Redbirds record now stands at 8-13.
With the loss, Richland falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Rebels host Risco (Risco, MO) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 17-2. Risco won 84-14 in their recent non-league bout against North Pemiscot (Wardell, MO)
