The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) and the host South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA), observed Oakton's basketball team overcome South Lakes by a margin of 50-42.

The Cougars (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Centreville lost by Westfield (Chantilly, VA), 56-51, in a league match.

The Seahawks now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host James Madison for a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. South Lakes will meet a Warhawks squad coming off a 44-35 non-league loss to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Warhawks record now stands at 10-3.
