Iowa High School Basketball - Algona holds off Mason City

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Algona Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 46-45 triumph over the Mason City Mohawks.
The Bulldogs (17-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA). The go into the North Central contest with a 18-1 record.
In their next game, the Mohawks confront the Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Mason City will attempt to better on its 15-7 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 71-24 league loss to Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA).
