Nevada High School Basketball - Amplus Academy sneaks past Cheyenne

The Amplus Academy Archers (Las Vegas, NV) basketball edged the visiting Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), 35-34 in Monday's league bout.
The Archers now possess a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Eldorado for a 4A Sky bout on Wednesday, February 5. Amplus Academy will play a Firehawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Boulder City (Boulder City, NV). The Firehawks record now stands at 6-11.
With the loss, Cheyenne falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Desert shields host Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Roadrunners in a 4A Sky bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a record of 9-15. Southeast Career Tech won 53-20 in their recent league bout against Amplus Academy (Las Vegas, NV)
